		<description>I had a look at Ubuntu recently - played with the live CD/DVDs. There&#039;s no doubt it&#039;s a nice distro, and it appears to be getting better all the time. I still can&#039;t bring myself to leave Gentoo though :)

The &#039;wireless networks auto-magically&#039; app is actually &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.gnome.org/projects/NetworkManager/&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;NetworkManager&lt;/a&gt; . It uses HAL/Dbus excellent-ness to do all the work. Find it hard to believe it&#039;s only just appeared in Ubuntu though - I&#039;ve been using it for ages...</description>
