Error 2048 and Flash Policy File Logging
17th February, 2010 – 3:54 pmWhenever you are working with Flash or Flex applications which make use of 3rd party feeds or data sources (such as XML or JSON), you need to be aware of how the Flash Player deals with Cross Domain security issues.
The easiest way to debug a 2048 Security Error is to enable Policy File logging in your mm.cfg; Adobe have a guide posted over on their site which explains how to get setup.
